Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is hiring a Lead Guest Services Associate for our Hawaii resort properties. The role focuses on delivering memorable experiences to Owners and guests, from villa check-ins to local activity recommendations, while upholding MVW standards.

You will engage with guests, coordinate with multiple departments to resolve issues, explain room features, and ensure requests are completed to satisfaction. Shift flexibility, including holidays and weekends, is required.

Responsibilities

• Checks Owners/guests into their villas, reviews property amenities, services, hours of operations, and local areas of interest.
• Acts on guests' questions and requests and coordinates with other departments to resolve issues.
• Explains room features to guests (e.g., room key, ice, vending areas).
• Follows up to ensure requests are met to guests' satisfaction.
• Answers telephone calls and routes to proper department.
• Ensures outstanding requests from previous day are resolved.
• Assists management with training new associates or hourly duties as needed.

Job description

Hourly Rate: $35.71

Hourly Wage: $35.71

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS

This bonus is for new hires. Internal candidates, college programs, rehires and managers are excluded. Payments are in $500 increments at 90 and 180 days, paid on the following paycheck. If eligible, you must be actively employed and actively performing services for the Company on the applicable eligibility date at the time the payment is made.

As a Lead Guest Services Associate, a typical day will include:

• Checks Owners/guests into their villas for their stay, and reviews property amenities, services, hours of operations, and local areas of interest and activities.
• Actively listens and responds positively to guests' questions, concerns, and requests and contacts other departments to help resolve guest issues.
• Identifies and explains room features to guests (e.g., use of room key, ice and vending areas, etc.).
• Follows up with Owner/guests to ensure their requests or problems have been met to their satisfaction.
• Answers telephone calls and routes calls to the proper department as applicable.
• Ensures that any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day receive priority and are resolved.
• Assists management with training new associates or hourly duties as needed.

To Become a Lead Guest Services Associate at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
• Specific job duties may differ by property, size of team, or facility.
