Job summary

Burford's Construction seeks a General Foreman to safely and efficiently manage multiple crews and push projects to completion. The role involves planning ahead, enforcing safety, and coordinating with customers to address project needs and concerns.

The General Foreman will supervise six to eight crews, ensure adherence to the Line Clearance Contract, and lead training for pruning techniques while maintaining equipment, records, and efficient scheduling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in line clearance or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership and scheduling skills.
• Willing to travel and work overtime as needed.
• Excellent communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe working practices and company policies.
• Schedule crews efficiently and assign their work.
• Supervise six to eight crews and coordinate geographic distribution.
• Maintain written and computer records.
• Communicate project-related issues to customers and team.
