Job summary

Burford’s Construction is seeking a General Foreman to supervise 6–8 crews on vegetation management and line clearance projects. The role requires strong leadership, safety discipline, and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

You will coordinate crews, train staff, and maintain equipment while ensuring customer communications are clear and professional. The position demands extended travel, willingness to work overtime, and a solid understanding of line clearance operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Broad knowledge of climbing skills and line clearance operations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety practices and company procedures.
• Schedule crews and assign work efficiently.
• Maintain records (written and computer).
• Lead, train, and coach team members in pruning techniques.
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure work is carried out as directed.
• Coordinate and inspect crew work and ensure equipment is maintained.
• Communicate with customers about project issues and needs.
