Job summary

Burford's Construction is seeking a General Foreman to supervise six to eight crews, ensure safe and timely project completion, and coordinate with the Owner. The role involves reading engineering drawings, enforcing safety rules, and leading training on pruning techniques. Travel and overtime may be required.

Required are 5+ years of experience, a high school diploma, and strong English communication skills. A CDL is preferred, and Spanish/English bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar role.
• Must have excellent work ethic and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Broad knowledge of all climbing skills and technical aspects of line clearance operations.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe working practices following company policies.
• Schedule crews and assign their work efficiently.
• Maintain records (written and computer).
• Lead, train, and coach team members on pruning techniques.
• Coordinate and supervise crew members to ensure work is completed to standard.
• Readily join storm restoration efforts when needed.
• Interpret engineering drawings and adhere to the Line Clearance Contract.
