Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a talented flight dynamics software engineer to refine architecture and lead the development of mission operations for a large satellite constellation. You will implement ground system infrastructure in the AWS Cloud and drive build automation, CI, and deployment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across spacecraft and ground software domains.

Qualifications

• B.S. in computer science, aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, physics or related field.
• Expertise in flight dynamics systems for fleet of space vehicles.
• Experience developing and fielding production flight dynamics software.
• Experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, C, or C++.
• Experience with Agile software development processes.
• Understanding of modern software development practices.
• Knowledge of SDN and containerization (Docker) with orchestration (Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Refine software architecture and lead flight dynamics software for a satellite management system.
• Guide development of mission operation software and ground system in AWS Cloud.
• Lead build automation, CI, configuration management, verification, and deployment.
• Create operations products and interfaces between C2, Mission Planning and Ground Station.
• Develop and integrate software components with unit and system tests.
