Job summary

Cox Automotive’s Cox Fleet division is seeking a Lead Fleet Auto Maintenance Technician (DOT) to oversee maintenance and repair of diverse trucks and equipment at a fixed location. You will diagnose, repair, and supervise while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, complex diagnostics, and coordinating with vendors. DOT compliance and safety are paramount; Master ASE is preferred, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with extensive related experience.
• Master Level ASE certification preferred.
• Diesel and transmission repair expertise expected.
• Ability to supervise shop personnel and lead a team.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Lead and direct shop personnel to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Interface with customers to deliver exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs; assist with scheduling.
