Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Lead Fleet Automotive Maintenance Technician to guide a team and perform advanced repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain fleets, while upholding safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.

You will lead shop operations, mentor technicians, liaise with vendors, and ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA rules. A dynamic, safety‑driven role in a fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED with 7 years of related experience.
• Master-level ASE certification preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations and safe driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs, including oil, filters, and diagnostics.
• Lead and mentor shop staff; coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop and proper fluid disposal per regulations.
• Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records.
• Oversee complex repairs, diagnostics, and multi-application work across vehicle types.
