Job summary

Cox Fleet seeks a Lead Fleet Automotive Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform high-level repairs on a range of trucks and equipment. You will direct shop activities, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety and quality in every service call.

You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventive maintenance, and interact with customers to deliver exceptional service. A strong emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and meeting deadlines is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and significant experience in automotive maintenance.
• Master Level ASE certification preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to look and run like new, solo or in a team.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors and customers to ensure timely service.
• Lead shop personnel, train junior technicians, and ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain vehicle history and parts inventories; uphold company SOPs.
