Job summary

Electric Power Systems is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead crews in testing, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment across diverse projects. The role requires strong leadership, safety focus, and hands-on expertise in field diagnostics and problem solving.

You will develop test plans, supervise field operations, and provide technical guidance while coordinating with engineers and clients. Travel to sites and out-of-town assignments are expected.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Criminal background check required.
• Willing to travel out of town for periods.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Develop testing plans, procedures, and work scopes for activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of testing and performance.
• Coordinate field activities with engineers and project managers.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in safety and technical practices.
