Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician to deliver high-quality service for combustion systems at customer sites. You will work remotely from Cleveland, OH, and travel 70%–80% to locations nationwide and internationally, reporting to the Field Service Manager.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing skills, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

3+ years in field service or technical support roles.
3+ years technical knowledge of electronic, mechanical, or software systems relevant to Honeywell products (PLC knowledge a plus).
3+ years of experience inspecting complex technical equipment.
Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Willing and able to travel 70%–80% to customer sites domestically and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

Perform testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of combustion systems at customer sites after Honeywell training.
Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe system performance and reliability.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers in the field.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives.
