Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader in supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. Based primarily at a service center, the role may involve remote work, travel to remote locations, or plant assignments to provide advanced field support as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair program preferred.
• Minimum age 21 with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers or field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and perform remote diagnostics when possible.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians; lead problem-solving efforts.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to resolve high-voltage and network faults.
