Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to serve clients in the West Chester, Ohio area. You will perform Level I tasks and lead installation teams, configure devices, commission systems, and train customers at a basic operations level.

The role emphasizes leadership, advanced product knowledge, and strong communication to ensure seamless project execution and high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high and/or low voltage).
• Hands-on/field experience from previous work experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, general networking, computers, VoIP).
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Previous experience completing projects within scope.
• Previous experience with service ticketing processes.
• Required 1+ year of knowledge in fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have valid US Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Execute all Level I installer roles and responsibilities, following documentation to uphold high standards.
• Demonstrate organizational skills in handling project and service tickets.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver outstanding results.
• Lead and delegate tasks within the team’s capabilities.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and seek feedback for improvement.
• Maintain effective communication with Project Delivery Cooperators, Project Managers, and customers.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
• Pursue professional development in leadership and communication.
• Perform FAT testing before installation and ensure quality.
