Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to act as the primary GEHC Services face to the customer, resolving advanced repair needs and driving satisfaction. The role covers the San Antonio area with relocation allowed and remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field and 4+ years of service experience on electrical equipment
• Equivalent military education and 4+ years of service on electrical equipment accepted
• High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of service on electrical equipment accepted
• Experience interfacing with internal teams and customers in a service process

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned equipment
• May perform installation, validation and maintenance on assigned equipment
• Lead, instruct, and assist less experienced Field Engineers
• Lead communications with customers and act as escalation point
• Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution
• Lead team meetings and coordinate with HQ/Region initiatives
• Partner with customers to suggest value-added services
• Maintain service logs and parts ordering efficiently
• Engage with sales opportunities and contract renewals
• Possess strong commercial acumen and account leadership
