Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to support Farmington, NM and nearby areas, with relocation assistance for out-of-state candidates. The role includes preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and coaching junior engineers to ensure service excellence.

You will lead complex repairs, train teammates, and liaise with customers to resolve issues while maintaining logs and parts orders. A 4+ year background in electrical equipment servicing and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment.
• Equivalent military education with 4+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of experience with a High School Diploma.
• Experience interfacing with customers in a service process.
• Legal work authorization in the U.S. with background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned equipment.
• Lead installations, validation and maintenance on equipment.
• Coach less experienced Field Engineers and provide feedback.
• Lead communications with customers and act as escalation point.
• Own issues from dispatch to resolution and coordinate with teams.
• Lead and participate in account community initiatives and meetings.
• Maintain service records, order parts, and manage cycle times.
