Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to perform preventative maintenance, install equipment and troubleshoot issues across modalities. The role is remote but requires onsite work at customer locations in Salt Lake City, UT.

You will lead basic repairs, coordinate with regional support, and strive for customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include installation support, on-call availability, and collaboration with commercial teams for potential revenue opportunities while

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent military education with 4 years service tech experience.
High school diploma with 6 years related experience.
Technical capabilities in (Vascular) including troubleshooting, repair and installation.
Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
Experience with Web applications as well as Microsoft suite of products.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. with no sponsorship.
Ability to be available after hours and/or rotate on-call including weekends.

Responsibilities

Learn to complete on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance, FMIs and/or ISIs.
Assist more experienced field engineers with equipment installation.
Work with experienced field engineers on basic troubleshooting and service repair needs on designated equipment.
Communicate effectively with teammates, colleagues and customers to ensure satisfaction.
Engage with customers to identify value-added services supporting their business.
Maintain service logs and internal records, order parts, and manage cycle times.
