Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to serve as a technical expert on PET/NUC/CT modalities and the primary GEHC Services contact for customers. This role requires onsite work at customer locations in the Houston, TX area, with occasional work from a home office.

You will troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain advanced equipment while guiding other engineers and coordinating with regional teams.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent military education with 6 years of equipment service experience OR HS diploma with 8 years' relevant experience.
Advanced PET/NUC/CT modality troubleshooting, repair and installation.
Valid Driver’s License required.
U.S. work authorization without visa sponsorship.
After-hours/on-call availability and rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned GE HealthCare equipment.
Lead installation, validation and maintenance activities as required.
Coach and support less experienced Field Engineers; provide feedback.
Communicate with customers and serve as escalation point for issues.
Own issues from dispatch to resolution and coordinate with regional teams.
Support account communities and identify potential sales leads and revenue opportunities.
