Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician based in the Waco, TX area with remote home-office setup and travel to client sites. The role includes emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure uptime for UPS systems and power distribution solutions.

Applicants should have 2+ years in power systems or electronics, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel; relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must have a current, unrestricted driver’s license and pass MVR check.
Willingness to travel daily to customer sites with a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site support including emergency repairs, start-up services and preventative maintenance.
Travel to customer sites and support worldwide within the USA for designated periods.
Follow safety rules and use PPE, read electrical schematics and apply troubleshooting techniques.
Collaborate with field service technicians and on-site leads to deliver solutions.
