Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division seeks a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician for remote work from a home office with frequent travel to customer sites in the Columbus, OH area. You will provide emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventive maintenance to ensure uptime of UPS, batteries, and distribution systems.

The role includes daily travel using an Eaton vehicle, ongoing training, and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Ability to work outside the immediate region in USA for 3 weeks per quarter.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and performing physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, emergency repairs, startup services and preventive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites, including overnight stays as required.
• Collaborate with Field Service Technicians and on-site leads.
• Maintain safety standards and comply with OSHA/NFPA 70E training.
• Assist in energy management projects and customer solution delivery.
