Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician to join our team. This remote role involves daily travel to customer sites in the greater Lubbock, TX area, with a company vehicle provided for on-site support and occasional overnight stays.

You will deliver emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance for UPS systems, batteries, and power distribution solutions, ensuring peak reliability and uptime for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Current, unrestricted driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• May be subject to background checks and drug screenings.
• Daily travel to customer sites using an Eaton-provided fleet vehicle.
• Willing to travel outside the immediate region within the USA for a minimum of three weeks per quarter.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance.
• Support customers at their facilities and coordinate with service teams.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete required training and certifications.
