Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team and keep a safe, well-maintained store environment across Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations. You will support the Facility Manager, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems while coordinating with vendors and store leadership.

This role requires 5+ years in facilities with mechanical maintenance, CMMS and Coupa experience, strong safety focus, and the ability to mentor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities with mechanical maintenance emphasis.
• 5+ years predictive and preventive maintenance experience.
• 5+ years HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on demand and preventive maintenance for critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems affecting store operations.
• Operate building controls and monitor systems; document issues and actions.
• Coordinate with vendors, manage parts, and attend meetings.
• Mentor other technicians and train new employees on equipment.
• Maintain CMMS records and ensure safe working practices.
