Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team ensuring a safe, well-maintained store environment. You will support the Facilities team, mentor technicians, and help manage building systems across Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

You will lead preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and coordinate with vendors and store leadership. A strong focus on safety, documentation, and training is essential to keep operations running

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associates preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on facilities with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years experience in preventive and predictive maintenance.
• HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems in store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; manage CMMS records.
• Mentor technicians and assist with training and safety practices.
• Coordinate parts, vendor management, and project meetings.
