Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team ensuring a safe, well‑maintained store environment across multiple Nordstrom locations. You will support the Facilities team, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and manage CMMS records.

This role requires strong safety discipline, mentoring of technicians, and effective communication with store leadership. Flexibility for day/evening shifts, weekends, and off‑hours is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or higher preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on facilities experience with emphasis on mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years’ experience with predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose building systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform on-demand and preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across store operations.
• Operate and monitor building systems and EMCS; respond to alarms and readings.
• Mentor other technicians and document outcomes in CMMS.
• Coordinate with vendors, parts ordering, and meetings; support FM and store leadership.
