Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a facilities team and ensure a safe, well-maintained store environment across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining accurate CMMS records. The role requires hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, strong safety practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with store

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on facilities experience with a focus on mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years of predictive and preventive maintenance experience.
• 5+ years HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills for facilities repairs.
• Able to troubleshoot basic inputs/outputs and low voltage signaling.
• Able to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; manage alarms with EMCS.
• Delegate work and mentor technicians; document maintenance activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks like parts orders, vendor coordination, and meetings.
