Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team and maintain a safe, well-run store environment across Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations within a business node.

The role supports the Facility Manager, oversees preventive and predictive maintenance, and mentors other technicians while coordinating with store leadership, vendors, and parts ordering to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance
• 5+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience
• Experience with HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on all critical and non-critical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations
• Operate and monitor building controls and building systems
• EMCS alarm troubleshooting and verification of building operation
• Mentor and develop technicians; delegate work/orders and attend meetings
• Assist with admin tasks: parts ordering, vendor management, and project meetings
