Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support multiple Nordstrom Stores and Nordstrom Rack locations. You will lead preventive maintenance on critical building systems, troubleshoot HVAC and electrical issues, and mentor junior technicians.

Responsibilities include operating building controls, documenting work, coordinating with FM and vendors, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 5+ years HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repair.
• Able to troubleshoot basic input/output and low voltage signals.
• Experience with CMMS and building systems documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems for store operations.
• Operate building controls and monitor systems and alarms.
• Document outcomes and share notes with leadership.
• Mentor technicians and assist with vendor management and meetings.
