Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in keeping store environments safe and well-maintained.

You will support the Facility Manager, supervise preventative maintenance, and mentor technicians while ensuring HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems are ready for daily business. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining CMMS records.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years in predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Experience with HVAC and refrigeration, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on demand and scheduled preventive maintenance for critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues across store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and EMCS alarms.
• Document maintenance activities and mentor junior technicians.
• Coordinate with vendors and project teams; ensure safety procedures are followed.
