Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in keeping our Utah stores safe and well-maintained for customers and employees. You will support the Facility Manager, ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building systems are ready for daily operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, mentor technicians, manage CMMS records, and coordinate with vendors and store leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 5-7 years hands-on facilities maintenance experience.
• 5+ years predictive and preventive maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems for Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and CMMS records.
• Mentor other technicians and assist with training.
• Coordinate with vendors, parts ordering, and meetings.
