Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to help lead a team and ensure a safe, well‑maintained store environment for customers and employees across multiple Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical and mechanical issues, operate building controls, and assist with vendor relationships, parts ordering, and administrative tasks. Mentoring teammates and adhering to safety protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree or higher from a vocational school or college preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and building systems.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as parts ordering and vendor management.
• Mentor other technicians and support FM with training.
• Respond to location emergencies and maintain CMMS records.
