Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Lead EyeCare Advisor in New York to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, guiding patients through exams and frame selections while coordinating with Optometrists and retail staff.

Responsibilities include pre-exam testing, patient coaching on contact lenses, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records; strong customer service and fashion knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Leadership and problem solving abilities.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.
• Strong organization and sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers without delay when they enter the location.
• Promptly answers the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services as well as the appropriate time frame.
• Operates the POS system and processes payments accurately per procedures.
