Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration seeks a General Estimator to produce and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial losses using Xactimate. You will meet with clients, develop budgets, and guide projects from scope through completion in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with insurance adjusters, brokers, and regional clients, applying BELFOR standards and industry codes to deliver accurate, timely estimates and maintain client relationships across a broad territory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Construction, Restoration or Contents Estimating
• Residential estimating experience >$50,000 and Commercial >$100,000
• BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 2 certification
• Advanced Xactimate training for Level 3 with 90% score
• English literacy and fluency
• Knowledge of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs
• Use of BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes with multi-sketches and roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch
• Develop quality and competitive estimates; manage work through completion
• Communicate progress with clients and management; review budgets
• Maintain construction schedules; coordinate with trades to ensure on-time completion
• Identify site hazards and ensure safety compliance; respond to after-hours emergencies
