BELFOR USA Group, Inc in the United States is seeking a General Estimator to create and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects using Xactimate. You will meet with clients, develop competitive scopes, and guide estimates through completion while coordinating with management and trades.

The role requires strong analytics, attention to detail, and knowledge of local building codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Construction/Restoration or Contents Estimating.
• Residential estimating >$50,000 and Commercial estimating >$100,000.
• BELFOR Estimating Platform Level 2 certification.
• Advanced Xactimate training for Level 3 with 90% score; invoicing experience.
• English literacy and fluency.
• Knowledge of MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs.
• Use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for estimates, proposals, etc.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Strong MS Office skills; professional demeanor and appearance.
• Ability to work with others and coordinate with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate scopes with minimal over/under estimates.
• Develop floor plans and roof sketches in Xactimate Sketch.
• Meet with clients; discuss project requirements and budgets.
• Manage estimates through completion and budget control.
• Coordinate with trades and management to ensure timely work.
• Adhere to BELFOR naming conventions for all documents.
• Maintain knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
• Provide accurate progress updates to clients and leadership.
