Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Estimator to create and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, using Xactimate, meeting with clients, and guiding jobs from start to finish. This role will review budgets, prepare proposals, and maintain schedules while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will coordinate with trades, apply restoration techniques, and uphold BELFOR standards. Strong communication, analytics, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• Experience with Xactimate and BELFOR standard formats.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Proficient with MS Office and estimates documentation.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local clientele to refer losses.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Ensure adherence to local building codes.
• Develop and manage budgets; address overages.
• Use BELFOR naming conventions for estimates and changes.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate with trades.
• Apply Xactimate-based techniques for decontamination and restoration.
• Participate in BELFOR University training when applicable.
• Independently manage own work; ensure vehicle safety.
• Complete all accident and incident reporting timely.
• Communicate progress clearly with clients and management.
