Core & Main, based in St. Louis, seeks an Estimating Manager for its Critical Infrastructure Group to lead daily estimating operations nationwide, ensuring accurate material takeoffs and timely bids for water and infrastructure projects.

The role partners with regional leadership, sales, and PreBid to drive standard practices. You will supervise the estimating team from junior to lead estimators, guide design-build engagements, and implement quality controls while communicating across regions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years estimating for water, wastewater, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience supervising estimating teams.
• Experience with design-build support and value engineering.
• Proven ability to review complex takeoffs with accuracy.
• Strong collaboration with contractors and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily estimating operations across project types and complexities.
• Ensure accurate takeoffs and standardized estimating practices.
• Provide technical direction on material selection and constructability.
• Lead design-build pursuits and strategic bid support.
• Coordinate with regional teams for scope clarity and alignment.
• Coach and develop Estimating staff through mentoring.
