Core & Main, a leader in infrastructure solutions, seeks an Estimating Manager for its Critical Infrastructure Group. You will oversee daily estimating operations, ensure high-quality material takeoffs, and drive consistency across regions with regional leadership, sales, and PreBid teams.

You'll guide design-build strategies, manage workloads, coach estimators, and develop training programs to elevate technical proficiency while upholding organizational standards and risk controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in estimating for water/wastewater, industrial, or critical infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience supervising, coaching, or leading estimating teams.
• Strong design-build support and value engineering experience.
• Experience working with contractors, engineering firms, vendors, and sales organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily estimating operations for all project types and complexity levels.
• Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely material quantity takeoffs across the regional estimating team.
• Assigns and monitors project workloads, balancing capacity across teams and regions.
• Manages work calendar.
• Reviews complex and high-visibility takeoffs submitted by senior-level estimators for accuracy and completeness.
