Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in Idaho Falls, ID with hybrid work options across multiple US locations. You will lead electrical system analysis, design, and oversight for building projects of low to moderate complexity and collaborate with senior staff on larger efforts.

You will support planning, budgeting, scheduling, mentoring, and cross-functional teamwork to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license preferred.
• 2+ years in building design consulting; 4+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system analysis and design, producing designs, specs, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and maintain professional relationships.
• Support project execution as part of a project team.
• Plan, budget, and schedule activities to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress against percent complete and fees.
• Analyze problems with senior staff to develop practical solutions.
• Review designs and apply IMEG QC processes.
• Stay current with electrical engineering trends and contribute to R&D.
• Prioritize safety and mitigate electrical-system risks.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and PMs to deliver integrated solutions.
• Identify potential issues and oversee bidding and construction administration.
