Job summary

IMEG in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design efforts as project manager or lead engineer on moderate to complex electrical-system projects.

You will collaborate with engineers and consultants to deliver engineering solutions, manage budgets, mentor staff, and liaise with clients to ensure successful outcomes in healthcare and education sectors, while advancing energy-efficient designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
• 7 years of experience minimum in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical-system analysis and develop detailed designs, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform site assessments and prepare analysis and technical reports.
• Gather project requirements, communicate technical information, and build client relationships.
• Conduct in-process design reviews and implement quality control processes.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff.
• Provide technical assistance to resolve field issues with limited senior staff.
