Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and project management for electrical systems in Inland Empire, CA. This role directs engineering solutions, oversees design and QA, mentors staff, and collaborates across disciplines on education-focused projects with healthcare and public-sector exposure.

The position offers full-time hybrid work in Inland Empire or Downtown Los Angeles, with up to 20% travel and an ESOP ownership structure.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• 7+ years in building design consulting.
• Advanced proficiency in circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics.
• Familiarity with IES standards and NFPA references.
• MasterSpec/eSPECS proficiency; Bluebeam and Adobe skills.
• Mentor and lead others; strong client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems and produce detailed designs and calculations.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and build relationships.
• Review designs and enforce IMEG quality control processes.
• Mentor staff and provide project oversight.
• Resolve field issues with limited senior support.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to R&D within IMEG.
• Prioritize safety and mitigate electrical risks on projects.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project goals.
• Participate in project interviews and presentations.
