Job summary

IMEG Corp. is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in St. Louis, MO, to lead design efforts as project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects. You will mentor staff, collaborate with senior engineers, and support budgets and scheduling across healthcare and MEP markets.

The role emphasizes high-performance, energy-efficient design aligned with industry standards, with up to 15% travel and a hybrid work schedule. PE license is required and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 5+ years in building design/MEP consulting preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and design of electrical systems per code and IMEG standards.
• Engage clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling for consulting projects.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress against scope and budget.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on appropriate, efficient solutions.
• Perform in-process reviews and support IMEG quality control processes.
• Stay current on electrical engineering trends and best practices.
• Prioritize safety and mitigate potential electrical risks.
