Job summary

IMEG Corp. seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to lead design efforts for electrical systems on building projects across Idaho Falls, ID; Sacramento, CA; and Reno, NV. You will collaborate with engineers and consultants to deliver compliant, innovative solutions, while guiding budgeting, scheduling, and design decisions.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and 2–4 years of building design experience. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• PE license required; active status preferred.
• 2–4 years in building design consulting; experience with electrical design for buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems across projects.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Support project execution including planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions; monitor progress and budget.
• Analyze problems and propose innovative electrical solutions with senior staff.
• Provide in-process design reviews and uphold IMEG quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices; emphasize safety.
