Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical design efforts for building projects in Idaho Falls, ID; Sacramento, CA; or Reno, NV. You will work with engineers and consultants to deliver innovative electrical solutions that meet code and IMEG standards.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering and a PE license, with 2–4 years of building design experience. Proficiency with AGI, Elum Tools, SKM/PTW, ComCheck, Revit SET, and Bluebeam is expected, along with strong

Qualifications

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
PE license required.
2–4 years of building design experience.
Proficient with design techniques and production of plans and specs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willing to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for electrical systems in building projects.
Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
Support project execution with budgeting, scheduling, and planning.
Document design decisions and client instructions, monitoring progress and budget.
Analyze problems and propose solutions with senior engineers.
Provide in-process design reviews and ensure QA/QC.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in electrical engineering.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Oversee projects through bidding and construction administration phases.
