Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician for a new construction project. The role oversees a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, performing installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems while training and evaluating the crew.

You will read blueprints, develop material lists, and ensure work aligns with NEC guidelines and project specs. Strong leadership and communication are essential for scheduling and coordinating daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead a crew of ~5 electricians including helpers and apprentices.
• Read and interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Communicate effectively with trades and supervision.
• Develop manpower schedules and ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Meet production and budget goals through effective team direction.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, conductors, and panels as per specs.
• Read project documentation and lay out work from drawings.
