Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians. You will lead, train, and evaluate performance while ensuring work meets NEC standards and project specs.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprints reading, and collaboration with other trades to maintain schedules and quality on commercial/industrial projects. On-site, with possible overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability and desire to grow this area.
• Able to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Shows an aptitude for reading and understanding blueprints and contract documents.
• Communicates effectively with other trades and project supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands and communicate to supervision.
• Ensure all work by crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics and lay out work from drawings.
