Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman Electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, alter and repair electrical systems while guiding the team, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time completion.

You will develop manpower schedules, read blueprints and specs, and communicate effectively with supervision. Strong leadership and deep electrical knowledge are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong reading of blueprints, specs and project docs; ability to lay out work.
• Understand scheduling and manpower planning for a crew on site.
• Proven ability to communicate across trades and with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and complies with NEC.
• Develop manpower schedules and communicate needs to supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and job demands; verify against site.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics; install and terminate devices and conductors.
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry; troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
