Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will install, alter and repair electrical systems, train and evaluate your team, and ensure work meets safety and NEC standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring, developing manpower schedules, reading blueprints, ordering materials, and coordinating with supervision.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership with ability to grow to lead/coach teams of ~5 Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thoroughly understands a small, assigned scope and can recognize out-of-scope work.
• Basic skills in communicating with other trades and negotiating work with trade supervisors.
• Experience reading blueprints and contract-related documents; capable of learning BlueBeam/Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure crew work meets highest quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules and material lists from layouts and job needs.
