Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to guide a crew on commercial/industrial electrical installations, alterations, and repairs. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring safety and quality while coordinating with supervision. You will read blueprints, develop manpower schedules, and order materials.

You will train and evaluate your crew, maintain schedules, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes. Willingness to work extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of project blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Ability to read construction documents and coordinate with other trades.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Meet production and budget goals by coordinating with the crew.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC.
• Read blueprints and project documents and lay out work areas.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, conduits, and panels.
