Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, train and evaluate the team, ensuring quality work and compliance with project specifications and NEC standards.

You will measure, layout, install and terminate conduit and electrical devices, read blueprints, and coordinate material lists with supervision while working toward production and safety goals.

Qualifications

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings and project documents.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands for supervision.
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Assist in developing a manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through effective task planning.
• Ensure work complies with NEC guidelines.
