Job summary

Amteck seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring safe, high-quality installation and coordination with other trades. Expect to develop schedules, read blueprints, and manage materials on-site.

You will mentor staff, uphold NEC standards, and adapt to project demands, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow as a supervisor.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, project specs and contract documents.
• Willingness to work overtime and adapt to project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure work meets highest quality standards and NEC guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits and read project drawings.
