Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial electrical installations. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring quality work that meets project timelines and safety standards.

The role requires 7–10 years of field experience, strong leadership, and proficient blueprint reading. You will coordinate material needs, develop work schedules, and collaborate with supervision to achieve production goals.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of small, assigned scope of work and ability to read basic documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Develop manpower schedules and ensure crew productivity.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and communicate needs to supervision.
• Ensure work adheres to local NEC guidelines and project specs.
• Read blueprints and project documents to plan installation of conduit and devices.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits as needed.
