Job summary

Amteck is seeking a Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew of Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers on commercial/industrial electrical projects. You will lead, train and evaluate the team while ensuring work quality and safety on site.

You will develop schedules, read prints, specify materials, and manage conduit installations, device terminations and basic circuit troubleshooting per project specs.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a five-person crew.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work and adherence to standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Prepare material lists from layouts and job site demands.
• Meet production and budget goals through clear communication with the crew.
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit and electrical devices.
• Read project drawings and lay out work areas.
• Determine wire, conduit, and box sizes.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
