Job summary

Amteck is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on electrical installation, alteration and repair projects in commercial/industrial settings. You will mentor Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to NEC standards.

The role requires coordinating manpower, developing material lists from layouts, and driving production to meet budget goals while maintaining safety and scheduling constraints.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership and ability to coach a small crew.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards and project specs.
• Develop manpower schedules for assigned crew and communicate needs to supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands; relay to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks and communicating priorities.
• Ensure work performed by the crew complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and electrical devices.
• Read project documents to lay out work and understand underground layouts.
